  一、检查情况

  A general cargo ship built in year 2012 was inspected.Among other things,the following deficiency was issued by the PSCO,which the RO disagreed with.

  一艘 2012年建造的货船, PSC检查期间, PSCO开具的以下缺陷,RO有异议: 07120 Width of Em’cy escape trunk from E/R not reach to 800 mm at lower plate (code 17/70)

  二、 RO主张

  The RO expressed the view that the width of the emergency escape trunk would not be affected by this small metal piece that was cut-off. Moreover, from a structural point of view, this cut-out may cause shear forces if not considering the underneath supporting structure and may create a hard-point.

  RO认为机舱应急逃生通道的宽度不受图中结构的影响,从结构上考虑,这个点切掉而不采取相应的措施将引起剪切应力。

  1.Is the escape trunk in question affected by the piece of fitting/cut-off substantially (i.e.less than 600mm)?
